The JAHSENA Library aims to support the informational needs of researchers, scholars, the Jewish community and members of the
public with regard to the history of Jewish life in Edmonton, Alberta, and more broadly, Western Canada,
as well as select topics within the field of Jewish Studies.
Materials include: books and periodicals about local and Alberta Jewish history; cookbooks and publications by Edmonton and Western Canadian Jewish organizations; relevant yearbooks and materials containing information pertinent to the Northern Alberta Jewish community; and biographies, memoirs, and other non-fiction materials published by or about community members and local Jewish organizations.

Accessing Books
Most of the books can be borrowed by JAHSENA members, except for those clearly marked as part of the reference collection, which are restricted to on-site use. Access to the library collection is available to all members of the public by appointment.
